In their wooden ships, they faced thunderstorms, freezing cold, enemy attacks and sailed to see the horizon behind the fog. During those long nights, the sweaters and cardigans woven by their wives kept the young sailors and pirates warm and close to the hearts of the beloved.
On their long days of sailing, the pirates and sailors would sometimes step into mystical and dangerous territories. They would first hear and become captivated by beautiful singing, which would lure them more and more into its source. Half bird, half woman, these beautiful creatures would captivate and distract the sailors from their ways. Inspired by these gorgeous mythical creatures, the Siren Bonnet and Gloves set is handwoven from wool.
