CONSCIENTIOUS
We have started our journey feeling discomforted from the damage our world is taking from fast consumption culture. In this vicious circle, most products are cheaply made, harm the nature, they are un-sustainable and are made without protecting worker rights. Although it takes thousands of liters of water to make one shirt, used clothes are mostly thrown away to become massive piles of textile trash taking centuries to decompose, leaving toxic chemicals, methane gas and micro-plastics into groundwater and soil.
GAME-CHANGER
We were wondering if it was possible to create and buy without harming our only home planet and the people that we share it with. Believing that there is another way, we rolled up our sleeves and Bamin was born. We started looking all over the world to find designers with the same vision to make a difference.
ETHICAL DESIGNERS
We have seen that there are designers who create handmade, unique, long-lasting products that do not harm nature and produce their products under ethical conditions. So we established a growing family believing that we will progress stronger with solidarity.
FAMILY ORIENTED
As a designer family, Bamin defends the rights of every designer within its body. Furthermore, Bamin observes the rights of each individual just like a family member. We find unique talents from all over the world with the same understanding and sensitivity as we do, and present them to the world.
SUPPORTING WORKER RIGHTS
We do not accept our designers unless we are sure that they have their employees working under ethical conditions. While we pay attention that everyone is fairly treated and eventually, happy to be part of the Bamin community, we also try to ensure that the environment is minimally damaged to not damaged at all.
GREEN
We try our best not to use plastic or non-recyclable products. Aside from making sure that our designers produce in an environmentally friendly manner, we deliver products to you in recyclable, reusable and all-natural jute bags.
ANIMAL LOVER
While we try to protect nature, we also advocate protecting the animals we share our world with. We put our best effort for our products to be produced without harming animals and made without being tested on them. Even most of our leather products are vegan or made from recycled leather.
