Luma Almeida, after working at a law firm, decided to embrace a new challenge and to create Haura. Realising how many clothes people have in their wardrobes and the little use they often put them to, noted the need for clothes that were more versatile, long-lasting, that stimulated people's creativity and that allowed people to "do more with less". To have a capsule wardrobe that met people's needs and that made us feel as if people had new pieces. Luma attended a sewing course and by learning to sew some pieces, was able to understand the manufacturing process and recognise even more the effort and work behind each piece people wear. Haura is the concretisation of a project that brings together several of its passions and interests: creativity in fashion, the ability for people to reinvent themselves (including in the clothes people wear every day), the potential of the circular economy and the adoption of more connected and conscious lifestyles.
