The brand has a super sincere story behind it. Melissa Pete, who was going through a difficult time, began taking soothing trips to the beach. In search of the meaning of her life, to connect with nature and to enjoy the sand and the sun, one day on the way back from one of these trips she was inspired to start her own jewelry brand. The name Sum / her is named after the Summer brand's birth season and is a healing journey of a soul that has chosen creation and light to thrive.
