TINKALU Vintage Prayer Bolster
This unique collection of handmade and hand-dyed textiles is inspired by the vibrant colors and fabrics of Vietnam's indigenous hill tribes. The materials are selected by hand while traveling in Asia and processed into rare vintage classics with hand-dyed silk velvet. All pillows are unique. For these beautiful 'prayer cushions', Lily Koi Saigon uses fabrics that Hmong women used to carry their small children on their shoulders. They are said to have protective properties. The production of the fabrics is threatened with extinction and so the cushions are now valuable rarities.
